Alloy Steel
Alloy Steel, or tool steel, is ideal for applications that require strength and material hardness. Tool steel has high machinability and heat treating capabilities, making it perfect for high temperature applications and high impact tools. Hansen Steel, a California-based steel distributor, provides a selection of alloy steels, able to be cut to any length based on customer specifications. Both standard and custom lengths are available.
You can also bring in your own metal to Hansen Steel for manufacturing! Laser and plasma cutting, robotic welding, metal forming and rolling, and leveling and shearing services are all available in our state of the art California facility. Ideal applications for alloy steel are determined by the grade of the material. Higher grades are most often used in stamping dies and molds.
